Social discrimination

Whilst we're on the subject of discrimination - what exactly is the point of the Single Sex Equality Bill?

The powers that be are looking to make male-priority social clubs illegal. Female members (who currently join/guest on a second-class footing) will be legally able to access all areas of clubs that are as yet inaccessible to them.

I don't see why the policy-makers are getting so het up on this; women have excluded men via the Women's Institute and the Ladies Circle for a very long time. There are certain topics that are easier to discuss among one's own gender, in addition to the comfort in not being subliminally subjected to sexual interest. Why exactly has the faith-school monger got her heart set on taking this comfort zone away from men?

Except there is a big difference in that male only clubs are bastions of privilege and power. Maintaining these club only perpetuate already unequal relationships.

PS: I am male!

Working men's social clubs, the Round Table and Rotary clubs hold very little power over here.

As for establishments like the Groucho and Travellers, well the same group of people are going to interact through work/social circles anyway, so your point is flawed.

When will the feminazi stop? Obviously men can't join women's gyms so why can't men have a private club of their own.

This is not progress.
